About pawwalk

pawwalk is a walking companion and social club for people who would rather be outside with their dog. It tracks every walk from start to finish, remembers where you went, and turns all those ordinary trips around the block into something you can look back on and share.

What you can do here

  • Record walks with live route tracking, weekly goals and walk history — measured in dog feet as well as kilometres, because the scale should suit the legs doing the walking.
  • Join a pack, chat with your walking crew, share routes, enter pack contests and climb the weekly standings together.
  • Find dog parks, nearby neighborhoods and the local pet businesses that sponsor the community magazine, All Things Pets.
  • Learn as you go: breed guides, a training library with a session tracker, dog-eye-view videos and a fun zone of games for your dog to beat your score in.
  • Build a dog house in a neighborhood, design a laser-engraved ID tag or badge, and keep a profile that stars the dog rather than the owner.

Who it is for

Anyone with a dog and a daily routine to protect: first-time puppy owners, lifelong multi-dog households, weekend walkers, dog park regulars and the neighbors who know every dog's name on their street. You do not need a smartwatch, a club or a steep learning curve — open the app, press start, and the walk counts.

Who builds it

pawwalk is built by a small independent team of dog owners and walkers. Every feature is tested on our own dogs first — if it does not survive a muddy morning walk with a distracted spaniel, it does not ship. We are not a mapping company or a pet store; we are a handful of people who wanted one calm, well-made place for walks, packs and the local dog community, and we keep the app free to use by working with local businesses rather than selling your data.
